Inspired by the iconic Grace Jones, "Project Bride" is a wedding dress design that embodies strength and gender fluidity. Grace Jones, known for her androgynous style and influence in the 80s, motivated me to create a gown with broad, powerful shoulders. Drawing from Keith Haring's geometric body art on Jones, I integrated geometric shapes and African cultural motifs on organza fabric, resulting in an empowering silhouette. Grace Jones's legacy as a pioneering artist who challenged gender norms continues to influence and inspire.
