False Sense of Security
Since time immemorial, the home has served as a safe haven for each of us. But can true security and protection come from impermeable materials? This project offers a new perspective on clothing as personal space, inviting a discussion on security, exposure, and the essence of home as a protected spaceArtists Andrés Reisinger ("Take Over") and Do Ho Suh ("The Perfect Home") led me to question the essence of "home," viewing it as both a physical structure and a personal, emotional spaceThe collection explores the connection between personal space and clothing, highlighting air spaces between the body and garment. The evening wear collection features tailored, transparent layers, conveying the idea of exposed and vulnerable places versus strong and stable ones. The color palette uses tones and prints in tone-on-tone, creating a blurring effect that dissolves the boundaries between body and garment.
